In 1962. Glamorous American couple, the charismatic Chester MacFarland (Mortensen) and his seductive young wife Colette (Dunst), arrive in Athens by sea through the Corinth Canal. While reviewing the Acropolis face RYDAL (Isaac), a young Greek-American who works as a tour guide, scamming tourists on the side. Designed for beauty and Colette Chesters impressed with the wealth and sophistication, RYDAL gladly accepted an invitation to dinner. However, all is not as it seems with MacFarlands and Chesters out affable hiding darker secrets.
